Can you hear the waves crashing in this scarf? Can you feel the watery nature, minus the sandy & salty feeling, of your favorite seashore?
The colors were expertly mixed to graduate from the darkest of the ocean water to the crashing waves with lighter hues. The sky is in the middle with ocean droplets splashing around your neck to cool your thoughts on a hot day.
2500 years ago, the Greeks were attentive to the healing properties of sea water. The salty water healed eczema, arthritis, asthma and back pain as well as wounds, and infections. Meanwhile, Hippocrates, a Greek physician, was hesitant to prescribe drugs which in the end might prove to be wrong for the individual. Instead, he preferred sea water and fasting as two general approaches to common ailments.
Now, I cannot ethically claim any of these medicinal benefits by wearing my scarf, however, I believe we need to have fun facts to share with our friends and family while wearing my scarves.
